Affiliate & editorial disclosure.
The short version: we earn a commission when you book through our links, it costs you nothing extra, and it never buys a better review. The longer version is below.
How we make money
Lumiéclat is funded by affiliate commissions. When you book a tour, ticket, or stay through one of our links, the operator pays us a small commission. You pay the same price you would booking directly. We are never paid to write a positive review, and no operator can buy a place in a guide.
What the link label means
Any link that can earn us a commission is marked with an "ad" tag and carries a rel="sponsored" attribute. If a link is not marked, we earn nothing from it. We point to the official operator or booking page wherever possible, not to a reseller you have never heard of.
How recommendations are chosen
Guides are built from primary sources: official sites, UNESCO records, operator pages, and our own routing. Prices, dates, heights, and tide times are checked against the source, not copied from other blogs. If a place is overpriced, out of season, or simply not worth it, we say so, even when there is a commission on the line.
AI-assisted media
Our map-narrated format uses AI-generated visuals and voiceover. We label that media as AI-assisted. The facts behind every guide are still verified by a person before it is published.
Corrections and contact
If you are an operator who thinks we got a fact wrong, or a reader who noticed a price has changed, email hello@lumieclat.com with the page and the specific claim. We would rather fix it than leave it, and we publish dated corrections.
This page, with the in-line labels on each guide, is intended to satisfy the U.S. FTC endorsement guidelines (16 CFR Part 255). We treat readers in every jurisdiction the same way. Product names and brands referenced here belong to their respective owners.
